The Western Australian Land Information System (WALIS) brings you the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) 7th Symposium in conjunction with WALIS Forum 2011 and the State National Resources Management (NRM) Landcare Conference.
Traditionally the WALIS Forum, while open to everyone; is tailored to people working with geographic information systems (GIS) and those who would like to find out how they can harness GIS to improve their business. However, with the ISDE focus, the opportunities for exhibition and sponsorship will be expanded tremendously.
The intention of the event is to provide opportunities for people within and associated with the industry to learn, network, identify potential solutions and to share and debate strategies for the future.
The NRM Conference provides an excellent opportunity for those associated with the natual eniornment to gather informaton about current best practice in natural resource management.
Program
The ISDE7, WALIS Forum 2011, NRM Conference will provide an international perspective on the challenges, demands and opportunities currently facing the GIS industry and our natural environment. With the continuing awareness of the use and functions of GIS around the world, the Forum promises to deliver updates on current activities, planned future activities and the latest and greatest in new developments across many sectors.
The program will cover a broad range of digital earth modelling and geographic information issues providing delegates the opportunity to unearth their earth science and spatial potential. The program will be divided into streams, with each segmented into key areas, such as business intelligence, land development pressures, climate change and resource management.
The conference program will include:
· International keynote speakers to inspire delegates, drawn from the industry and other relevant areas
· Respected local thinkers and practitioners
· A range of key stakeholders to stimulate and challenge.
The program and venue will be planned to ensure that your organisation and its products and services will receive maximum exposure throughout the event. With many WALIS Forums under our belt, we have the experience required to ensure your value for money is received.
We anticipate well in excess of 1000 delegates so please take the opportunity to promote your brand.
Venue
While the tender process is underway for the event location and management we cannot relase details, but we expect a highly suitable venue to deliver your exhibition needs.
Accommodation

Your involvement
You have the opportunity to participate in this conference both through sponsorship and the trade exhibition. We would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in one or both of these categories as outlined in the prospectus. Should the proposed options fall outside your requirements and you would like to participate, contact us and we will be happy to negotiate an alternative that will better suit your needs. Trade Exhibition
We would like to offer you the opportunity to be an exhibitor at the ISDE 7 and WALIS Forum 2011. We estimate the attendance for this event to be in excess of 1000 delegates. The exhibition has been structured so that you will receive the maximum possible exposure and benefit from your selected option. All meals, refreshments and happy hour drinks will be served throughout the exhibition area.
Exhibition Booth ($3,750)
To maximise exhibitor contact with delegates, morning and afternoon teas, lunch and all happy hour drinks will be served throughout the exhibition area. Trade representatives are invited to attend all conference sessions.
We strongly recommend that you book early to gain the best position, as booths will be allocated to exhibitors in order of receipt of application forms. Once the venue and event management are confirmed support will be available to construct booths and assist with any modifications you may require. Further exhibition details will be sent to exhibitors in a full ‘Exhibitor Kit’ later in 2011.
